This morning (and when we say morning we mean 5 AM) we woke up to what sounded like our cat fighting for his life. Apparently, sometime during the night, he got tangled in the Christmas lights we hung up on our tree. We had to spend a solid 10 minutes untangling him from the mess, all during which he meowed and moaned at us as if it was our fault. This pretty much sealed the fate of our Christmas tree, which managed to survive exactly two weeks in our household, but at least it made it through Christmas.
