You've made it to the holiday grundle. That funky little stretch of time between Christmas and New Year's where you're faking your job and swearing you'll stop overeating, while still overeating (because let's face it, time isn't real until January). As a parent, this is a particularly special time because the kids are still out of school but you're crawling back toward "normal life." Maybe you're taking that long-awaited family vacation and discovering the truth behind the National Lampoon movies. Maybe you're begging your kids to play with the toys they were gifted, even though they got bored of them after approximately one hour.
Either way, you're parenting, and you're parenting hard. But remember to take some you time, so you don't enter 2024 with old Kraft mac n cheese crusted on your shirt. (But if you do, we won't tell anybody.)
