Few animals can humble a person faster than the domesticated cat. It doesn't matter what level of trust you have gained with your feline friend, they know how to make you doubt it with little more than a single, withering look. They're so darn cute, though, that we'll always let them get away with it.

It's true that being around cats is not always a pastime for those who have easily bruised egos. However, it is one of the many reasons they are such a fantastic evergreen inspiration for memes. They have an expression for every occasion and every type of humor that you can think of, and probably a few other types that haven't even been invented yet.
