'My mom has sticky fingers': Mother steals $1,200 vase from hotel, gets caught and makes it her son's responsibility to get her out of the charges

Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequence of your mother's actions. Why is it that the older generation thinks it's fine to just steal from hospitality businesses? Like, yes, you're paying to spend a night or two there, but you're not paying to take home that wall art or tea kettle they put in there for your convenience. This Redditor's mom took it upon herself to leave the hotel with the a robe and crystal vase. She thought she'd get away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling hotel employees just doing their jobs… The mother, of course, was charged for the stolen items and it was a much prettier penny than she was expecting. She was fine with eating the $125 for the robe, but the $1,200 for the vase was where she drew the line, apparently. So instead of facing the consequences of her own actions, what does she do? She mails her consequences to her son to figure out… The entitlement!
