TV Terror: Bad Kitty Figures Out Purrfect Life Hack For Getting Attention By Parking Itself In Front Of TV, Feisty Feline Pawrents Respond With Similar Silly Pictures & Comments

On a scale of 1-10, how needy is your cat and how far are they willing to go to get your attention? Our cats are about a 6, they are needy, but only when they really want snuggles, and they usually listen to us and come back later whenever we're busy. However, some cats are a 9 or a 10, and we have the purrfect name for them - "TV Terrors". These hissterically bad cats demand pets and rubs whenever we're not paying attention to them, so much that they will park themselves in front of the TV, obscuring our view and blocking our favorite shows. 

The problem is ours to begin with - we have to remember that they are our favorite show, and nothing comes before our favorite feisty feline friends. They may be annoying sometimes, but we love them.     Cats really are good at training their humans. Any cat owner who thinks it's the opposite way around is simply kidding themselves. These cats run the house, they even decide when you can and can't watch TV. They're more strict than our parents were!

    shinyidolomantis 23 hr. ago My cat figured out when I watch a show in another language with subtitles that I can't just ignore her if I want to know what's going on. Soo I have to pause the show and I give her attention til she's happy. She learned I just ignore it if the shows in English so she doesn't bother jumping in front of the tv anymore, but in another language, and she's constantly jumping in view of the tv. I still love her though, even when she's utterly annoying. I'm a bit surprised

    sonipoop 1 day ago I put a small cat tower next to the TV and a small u-wave cat scratcher I drop cat nip on to stop my cat from doing this. Now, she just jumps into the cat tower or gets distracted by the scratcher. Turns out she is just a weirdo who likes keeping her eyes on me because she's obsessed with me so she can now watch me from her tower like a creep while I watch TV.     Applebottomgenes 75 21 hr. ago We use a projector instead of a regular TV. When our cat wants us to stop watching TV and go to bed, she sits on top of the projector, blocking the beam of light. We do generally go to bed when she demands, so this is our fault, we have taught her this behaviour. When our projector broke, we switched to a regular TV instead which means we could ignore her as her blocking trick doesn't work. So now she threatens to push the whole TV over. We have created a monster.
