Parenting is never easy, but it is especially difficult during the first couple of years. So many parents act like the teenage stage is the worst, but I think that they forget how hard it is to have infants and toddlers. You have a tiny human being in your care who cannot do anything alone and must always be supervised. Of course, there is no humanly possible way you can watch your baby 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you have to make strategic choices about when to leave your kid alone. I 100% understand why a mom or a dad would want to have at least 3 minutes without their baby while they use the restroom. "Where to put the baby" is the million-dollar question. One mother came up with the ingenious idea of velcroing her baby to a chair, which is receiving a lot of criticism and a little bit of praise.
