Yesterday a supposed 14-year-old girl known by the handle @QueenDemetriax_ made the unfortunate choice to tweet to American Airlines. What followed was a series of Definitely Not Joking exchanges between her and the airline followed by the suspension of her account. Luckily, Storify catalogues all of those deleted tweets.

Her final recourse to the situation would be hilarious if it weren't also sad:So, there we have it. These are the times we live in. Welcome to the age where Homeland Security is trying to hunt down a teen on Twitter who didn't have the good sense to refrain from a bad prank.
