    MegaNymphia OP. 11 hr. ago it is common to see patients with ringworm who have short whiskers like that due to itching and other changes to the skin and coat that go along with the fungal infection. all cats pictured are in our ringworm treatment center

    but it's not uncommon to see kittens with short whiskers due to their littermates chewing them off or being silly kids and tumbling around and breaking them

    MegaNymphia OP 11 hr. ago his name is Asteroid because he looked like one on intake lol. severe case of ringworm. we do DTM cultures and he had so many spores on him his culture medium looked like we covered it with cotton 1. believe it or not he actually looks better than when we first started

    treatment. poor dude also had such a bad upper respiratory infection he was breathing opened-mouthed only (cats are like 99% nose breathers) and wouldnt eat because he couldnt smell his food and was so sick. Im glad he feels good enough to be a brat lol
