25+ of the Best Dungeons and Dragons Memes of the Week (January 19, 2024)
One of my favorite (if not my favorite) TV shows of all time, Freaks and Geeks, ends with an awesome Dungeons and Dragons moment. The group of geeks runs a DnD session with the freak of all freaks, Daniel (played by James Franco). It's his introduction into the geek world, and it's as hilarious as it is sweet. He decides to play as a dwarf named Carlos.
What's even more awesome is that the actor who played the ring leader of the geeks, Sam, co-wrote and directed the 2023 Dungeons and Dragons movie. And he reunited with fellow geeks Martin Starr and Samm Levine for a little video to promote it, where they tongue-in-cheekily revealed they've been playing DnD for 23 straight years. Time flies when you're geekin' out with your friends. I'd like to think that they'd enjoy these memes.
