Anyone in the midst of wedding planning should get an automatic month off of work, who's with me? But seriously, wedding planning is stressful AF. I've watched my sister and countless friends get married and I have a few takeaways on all the cool stuff I've seen after the stress is mostly over and the big day finally arrives. 

People love an open bar. Even if you don't drink, tell me you don't love options. More options for your guests equals instant happiness when it comes to alcohol. Don't be stingy, splurge on the $17 bottles of wine and some top shelf liquor. Create some swanky mocktails too and call it a success.

Guests want to see the happy couple up close and personal, even if it's for two minutes. It's a big job running around all night from photo shoot to photo shoot, but it's disappointing as a guest if you don't get that much awaited picture with the newlyweds. Always make the time. 

Good music is a must. I almost solely go to weddings because I want to dance. The music has got to be on point. I personally love a live band, but DJ's can still deliver. Ask for recommendations from your wedding party on some party hits. 

Anything personalized is memorable. There are a million different ways you can show your guests what they mean to you from the place cards to the wedding party gifts to your thank you notes. Going the extra mile is always worth it.
