Well, we were all complaining about winter not being a "real" winter (well, at least here in NYC…) and now we're really eating our words. As someone who has lived in NYC for decades, this is nothin'. But still, it's been several years since this city has seen any real amount of snow, so we all got giddy about it. Oh how quickly we had forgotten the dirty melted snow sledge that creates puddles of mysterious depths. Or the solid ice sidewalks that have you making out with the ground in .02 seconds. Don't even get me started on those unbearably cold wind tunnels the buildings create. However, this is actually a pretty nice time for the city. This is when most of us natives decide to hibernate. Sure, we might step out to go to our local watering hole down the street or the bodega next door, but that's about it. The rest of the time we're hold up in our closet-sized apartments with space heaters and 20 blankets. It's quite cozy. So cuddle up, brew some tea, and get into full hibernation mode with these honk-sho-me-me-memes!
