Millennial divorcee cringes over wedding design choices she made in 2015: 'The teal was the real crime'

If you were to look back at your Pinterest boards from 10 years ago, what would you find? Would there be funny kitten videos, interior design inspo, archaic memes, baby name ideas, and style guides featuring owl jewelry

Or would it be the most gloriously cringe collection of wedding decor ideas?

At the dawn of the Internet surplus age, we all went a little crazy for weddings. Romantic or not, we all secretly looked at these Tumblr-worthy designs and sought after our own unique and aesthetic wedding. However, planning a wedding on a mood board versus forking out the cash to actually do the dang thing in real life caught us all off guard. For one woman in particular, a millennial classic named Dakota Dunn, her 2015 wedding styling became the source of one of her cringiest moments to date.

Everyone wanted to be a little something special back in 2015 and for Dakota, that meant that everything had to be teal. While everyone can appreciate an accent color here and there, 2015 weddings were just built different. Strangely, in her recently viral video, Dakota laments over many cringey travesties that occurred during her wedding planning, heeding a sacred warning to all other future brides to consider the longevity of their designs just as much as the trends.

Hilariously, Hilariously, Dakota's not the only one living through her ultimate cringe days–apparently, a lot of Millennials struggled with the same ‘OOF’ moment looking back on their sacred nuptials. While Dakota's marriage lasted about as long as the tiered dessert tray trend did, it's safe to say that she'll be planning a completely different look for her next marriage–perhaps it'll be a little more classic and a lot less... teal.
