OP had uploaded a post with a few photos regarding a neighborhood cat whose family had left him behind when they moved. It garnered quite a bit of attention, as of course, nobody likes hearing about a poor animal who was abandoned by its owners… That is why OP's most recent post, sharing the fact that OP had adopted this adorable cat, was so heartwarming. OP made sure to add lots of photos so that fellow Redditors who had been following this cat's story could see how great its new life was.
