When I was older, we even built a bookshelf together and it's one of my most fond memories. My mom on the other hand has always been obsessed with Scrabble. She'd always have my sister and I watch Wheel of Fortune with her or play any word game possible. We became better at spelling and grammar and had fun at the same time, win-win.

There are tons of indoor activities to do with your kids, no matter the age. It's impressive how creative some parents can get and a chance to show your kids you can do cool things too.
