Going to the gym every day can feel like Groundhog Day. You put on the same shoes, do the same workouts, at the same place, sipping the same Celsius. Of course, routine is important, especially for things like a workout regimen. You have to build habits in order to hold yourself accountable. But it can get a little repetitive after a while.
Speaking of that, happy Groundhog Day! I'm sure by now Phil has seen his shadow and declared another 6 more weeks of winter like he always seems to do. But the good thing about more winter is more reasons to be at the gym. It's dark and cold and thus so many fewer distractions. Come July, we'll have all sorts of plans knocking at our door, beckoning us to lay out, sip a piña colada, and take it easy. But for now, we grind. We grind and we look at memes. Easy enough.
