00 swan4816 5d ago I brought a tom inside over a year ago, he's now living as a prince and the sweetest boy ever! Does the cat let you pet it? Getting it fixed? Any other pets inside? 103 Reply Share hypoxiate OP. 4d ago He can't come in. He's mite and flea-infested and I have medically fragile cats who cannot handle his presence, hence the trap-training.

cowgrly 4d ago Sorry, I am probably missing part of the story- you're trapping him then getting him vetted then he comes in? Or keeping him outside? 19 19 Reply ↑ Share ... hypoxiate OP. 4d ago Trapping, vetted, and into rescue (not my home.) He's never going outside again. Cats shouldn't be outside, especially where it routinely hits well below zero in winter.

hypoxiate OP. 4d ago He's actually been a stray for closer to two years, I found out this morning. People posted his photo in local FB groups but have never tried to catch him. Turns out I reposted him about 18 months ago and offered to come trap him then but the homeowner never responded. I'm glad I'm a crazy cat lady. useless. people are so

Organic_Equipment100 4d ago lol he has a kitty pirate flag! He's so adorable! You're an awesome human! 42 23 Reply ↑ Share hypoxiate OP• 4d ago The flag is the official flag for Fort Feral, which I set up every winter. Heated, insulated, three straw-filled sleeping pods, fresh food, and trapping.

053 r/meowsertrousers 15 hr. ago hypoxiate Okay, I feel like we're all invested in Teddy's well-being, so here's another update: We started the day completely shut down. No spark in his eyes, nothing. He wouldn't eat, wouldn't move, nothing.

I collected pledge money for his care and tomorrow morning he's off to a vet exam, sedation, shaving, and neuter/spay. I haven't been able to confirm gender, but judging by his bone structure and puffy cheeks we're guessing male. He did allow me to start trimming the horrible mats out of his fur. I managed to get the worst of them along his back and sides, and he's much more relaxed now. He even ate some yummy expensive food. Shall I post an update tomorrow?

thatsonehandsomecat 14h ago . Do you believe any cat can come around with enough time? The foster I have is mostly blind and has hearing issues. He's been through a lot and it's only been since December I've cared for him. I try not to have too much hope but I really want to believe he could be ok at least with our little family

hypoxiate OP. 13h ago I can't really give a definite answer, unfortunately. I do believe that we should love them exactly where they are in their journey, knowing that they might never be who we hope or expect them to be, and that's okay. That's just how relationships function regardless of species. Love means giving them the space and time they need, on their terms, and always remain consistent with that.

hypoxiate OP replied to the-wifi-is-broken 1 hr. ago Please look up Animeow Control on FB and Instagram. Three days ago I trapped a beautiful little calico (chipped, thankfully) who had escaped eight months ago when her owners were moving houses. The good days are priceless.
