Who else used to hate drinking water when they were kids? I used to think of it as such a chore, such a slog, and an annoyance, like going to the dentist. My mother would have to force me to finish my cup by the end of the meal, and I would chug it like medicine. I feel like a lot of those kids are that way. We tend to prefer Sprite or chocolate milk. Now, as an adult, I can appreciate a crisp glass of water sitting on the nightstand.
But I will say, two things have revolutionized my water intake: temperature and straws. I realize I hate ice water (unless it's super hot out) and find it easier to drink water just below room temperature. And straws, well, straws just make everything better. Now I'm hydrated and ready to soar. These memes go down like a large glass of slightly cold agua, sipped through your favorite straw.
