Woman Saves Injured Baby Deer and Nurses Him Back to Health, Deer Forms Heartwarming Bond with Family Cat

After seeing an injured deer in the woods that could not stand up, this woman stepped in to give him the care he needed. She took the baby deer to the vet and got all of his vitals stabilized. She then learned that his recovery would be a long road, so she decided to take him home to help nurse him back to health. His foster family didn't expect what happened next.

With the proper rest and nutrients he needed, the deer recovered relatively quickly. During his rehabilitation journey, he grew quite close to his foster family. The deer became attached to the woman and her husband, who helped him out in his most vulnerable state. This viral video shows the deer wagging his tail and insisting on pets from his caretakers as if he were a dog.
