‘It takes two to tango…’: New employee gives a seasoned employee a dose of her own medicine and bravely defies the strict company hierarchy

In the office, there is a real hierarchy that must be treated seriously and with the highest regard. But what would happen if you were forced to engage in a direct confrontation with the company's highest-ranking employee? Do you give in to her demands at every turn, or do you refuse to relent or back down?

The story that follows tells the tale of a clever employee. Recently, the Original Poster (OP) started working in a new corporate position. Nilly, the office secretary, was resolved to assert her authority as soon as OP arrived at the office. However, when OP recognized how serious the situation was and understood what Nelly was attempting to achieve, he gave Nilly a dose of her own medicine.
