So…. Did anybody else wake up to their phone set to “SOS Mode” only? And did anyone else watch an apocalyptic movie last night? Welp… All I have to say is, “BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!” We keep descending more and more into a dark dystopian post-apocalyptic movie. What's next, The Terminator?! Honestly, would anybody even actually be surprised at this point? A living breathing dinosaur could come rip through Tokyo right now, an alien species could crash land in the middle of Manhattan, or Nessy could straight up come out of the loch and start tap dancing and we would all just shrug.
This morning an apparent “solar flare” has many cellular users down, mostly on AT&T, but also Verizon, T-mobile, and several others. It's not all users, but enough to cause a hilarious tizzy on Twitter. They encourage users to use Wi-Fi calling if they need to make a call and in the meantime, they're working on the issue. Also in the meantime, cellphone users are having a grand old time making this difficult time a hilarious comedy hour online.
