Hey, I'll admit it. I'm a so-called "Cool Gen Z Person" and I love Billy Joel. He's one of my favorite songwriters of all time. I know it's not fashionable to like him, but you can't deny he's one of the most prolific hitmakers of the 20th century. From all-timers like "Piano Man" to musical odysseys like "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," he's proven his staying power as a brash, full-throated, down-home Long Island kinda guy. He has charm out the wazz, and if you've ever gone to one of his concerts, you know his magic. The minute he lays those paws on the keys, everyone in a mile radius has been changed forever.
