As cat owners, we all tell everyone that our cats are unique and have unique qualities and quirks, and that's true! But we also have to admit that all cats living on a few very specific scales and pipelines. Like the cold-snap to house-cat pipeline - which are those cats who are only supposed to stay for a few days then choose you, and you're left with no choice but to keep them. Or the awkward teen to majestic beast scale - two phases of life which pretty much all cats go through and we have to suffer.
And today, a new cat sliding scale is being presented to the public - the unit to goblin scale. After much research and consideration, it has been concluded that indeed all cats fit into this scale, with exotic longhairs and oriental shorthairs both being either side of this spectrum.

We love how, as a community of cat lovers, we can call our cats "goblins" and "units" and say it with an unparalleled level of affection. Yes, we're mildly insulting them, but that's because they're little rascals who deserve it, and the beautiful thing is that we love them all the more for it.
Where is your cat on this scale? We think ours is somewhere between the "normal cat" and "unit" side of the scale. But it depends on the angle. Some angles, our cat looks like a beautiful supermodel ready for some IG modelling, and in other angels… we love our cats no matter what!
