36 Programming Memes for Coding Queens in Tech
Being a woman in tech never gets easier, but you do get stronger.
Not everyone has a hard time, but some companies need to work on their culture, and it shows. After setting foot in this industry, I've had a lot of people doubt me. As a woman navigating this male-dominated field, every line of code feels like a victory against the odds stacked against me. Coworkers often looked down on me, and if I asked questions, they would just take the work from me instead of showing me how to improve. But hey, I got better, and even though upper management still assumes I'm a junior at times, I don't take it as personally anymore. You just have to move on to win.
This field can be isolating, but it's also a lot of fun. Fixing bugs, rushing to meet deadlines, lack of documentation… It's all part of coding. So let's continue breaking barriers, shall we? One line of code at a time.
