"The fear in that poor baby's eyes. Thank god for a momma with some grit. He's so lucky to be okay!"
There are many moments that a mother never wants to experience but constantly dreads—yet, flying off of a roller coaster is not usually in the top 10, probably not even in the top 20. However, as a mother, you have to be ready to protect your baby at any moment, and @holleywood19891 was ready.
A heart-stopping situation went down at Six Flags when a mom and her 7-year-old son took a ride on a popular roller coaster. Everything was going smoothly until halfway into the ride when the security latch swung open and locked. A terrifying moment for anyone, but this mom immediately went into action and held on tight to her son for the rest of the ride. Luckily, there were no loops, but still an unbelievable moment. They didn't know at the time, but it wasn't just them who had unlatched, but the entire section of the ride. Everyone was feeling the fear, but this mama made sure her baby was safe through it all.
She uses a case that secures to your hand, so she was recording the ride in hopes of catching a fun moment between her and her son. Unfortunately, it caught an entirely different situation. When the ride finally ended, she was shaking so hard with adrenaline that she could hardly move. She went to customer relations to complain and see if something could be done. They offered her some fast passes to allow her to cut the line, but other than that, they didn't do anything about the ride and they did not offer her a refund. Obviously, neither she nor her son wanted to ride any more rides that day.
