Remember back in the heady days of the mid-2010s when some people thought that internet humor couldn't get any weirder? We had Dat Boi, the craziness of Vine, and deep-fried memes! Surely it couldn't get any more postmodern!

Well, everyone who thought that was wrong. TikTok came along and put our irony-poisoned brains in a blender once again, and now look where we are. Things are more nonsensical than ever, yet somehow at their most relatable as well. We've got to a point where we are beginning to realize that most of us have never had a unique experience, it's just that some are better at expressing it with flair.

We're glad about that, because it means that everybody gets to enjoy the near-endless stream of dumb entertainment that it brings to the clock app. It also spreads to the wider internet, as we can see in the examples below.
