Sheeple_person - 16 hr. ago In basically any first-world country other than the US and Canada a brand-new employee gets almost twice as much PTO as this person does after 20 years. It's crazy how much we workers are leaving on the table by not organizing and pushing back.

Safi 89 16 hr. ago Yup. Totally wild. I work in the UK and get 30 days a year PTO. I have been at my company a year and a half. 5 years gets a bonus week and 10 years gets an additional month sabbatical. It's a good life here.

Environmental-Job515 5 hr. ago Seriously? That's awesome! At 15 years I reached 4 weeks per year of PTO and it was frowned upon if you used it all. I took every minute!!! Also, they soon blanketed the company with 3 week maximum for

everyone, but did grandfathered those who had reached it. That's what buyouts by hedge funds do. We were subsequently sold off 2 more times. I was canned at 28 years. Phone call on a Friday... send in your lap top good luck!
