Ladies, we really have it rough sometimes. As much as men like to say 'things have changed' or 'we don't need feminism,' there are so many situations that it's just not true. Funny that men think they even have the authority to vouch for how women feel in the world, but are we surprised at this point?
There's still a lot of slander and degradation around the values, capabilities, and positions women can hold. Women in tech is such a new concept, it's incredible to see bright, confident women really pursue what they love, despite backlash from the world. Even women who make it to the tops of male dominated fields, there's still so much suffering and bigotry they experience on a daily basis. Take this woman for example – imagine not getting a job you're more than qualified for because the interviewees were intimidated by you…very sad. It's a mediocre thing to do, but at least we know she's off to bigger and better things.
