Working from home, unlike what people may think, is not easy. Especially when you have pets. You're sitting there, trying to concentrate and be productive, and then your pet… wakes up. And suddenly, we understand what it's going to be like to have a baby in the house. Yup, as animal people, we have heard of all kinds of pets disrupting work meetings in all kinds of ways. We have seen everything from cats breaking into Zoom calls, to newborn kittens interrupting meetings, to dogs interrupting Zoom calls. And we thought that we have seen it all. Until today.
Ravens. Never did we think that we would hear about ravens interrupting work meetings, but that's what went viral on twitter this week. And no, the ravens didn't fly into the house. They didn't need to. It's simply the fear of repercussions from these ravens that had this boss stepping out on more than one meeting to go feed them.
Listen, if there is any valid reason at all out there to interrupt a work meeting, it's to go feed some ravens. But! We do have to say that if you do that- if you leave a meeting to go feed some cute birds… then you must - and we mean must - return to said meeting with pictures of cute birds. It's required.
And this… is where we realized that we were in for a fun ride with this thread. Because instead of laughing at the crazy birb lady going out to feed her birbs because she's afraid they'd have some vendetta against her if she didn't… the internet decided that she was indeed right.
