Do you have an indoor cat that longs to be an outdoor cat? Perhaps you've allowed your feline friend to explore the great outdoors once or twice, and now they refuse to stay indoors. They scratch at the door and meow their little hearts out until it drives you crazy enough to let them outside. But the implications of having an outdoor cat can be scary. Maybe you live near a busy road, or there are lots of stray cats in the area, or maybe you're just afraid your little pal won't return home one day. Whatever the reason may be, your cat is not going to let you hear the end of it. But... how can you train a cat?
Apparently, this isn't an uncommon issue among cat purrents. A lot of other people have had a similar problem, and they offered advice for how they resolved it. From a solution as simple as waiting for the cat out until he realizes he's not allowed out to purchasing a 100-ft leash and harness for the backyard, there's bound to be a solution for you to try out. So if you're in the same boat as these purrents, don't give up hope yet.
