There are a lot of things in this life that are unfair, or at least they seem to be. We've all witnessed times when a wonderful person has been cursed with awful bad luck, or when somebody who is the complete opposite of wonderful has been continuously rewarded for that fact. While we do have a certain amount of control over whether we win or lose in most situations, there is always going to be an element of randomness about it as well.

In this kind of setting, unpredictability is rarely enjoyable. Let that be another reason that we can be thankful for memes, where instability is both fun and encouraged. It is hard to be unfair in this setting, because almost all of these images are going to be forgotten as quickly as they are consumed anyway. So, scroll away free in the knowledge that you have done your part in contributing to the ecosystem.
