Working at the same workplace for decades has its pros and cons. On the one hand, it can be extremely challenging to work at the same job for most of your career, it probably gets really boring at some point and the grind might be insufferable. This is exactly what helped the employee in this Reddit story to take revenge on her terrible boss. After decades of working successfully for a tech company, OP's (original poster) manager quits and a new manager arrives, and the new manager doesn't like her at all. As they try to work together, OP quickly understands that her manager is going to try and push her out of her job, so she ends up looking for a different job. She does so, but after a few months away from her old job she gets an opportunity to use her well-established connections to let the tech community know exactly what kind of person her manager is, and that opportunity can end his entire career.
