The sun is out, the courts are dry, and Edith the 90-year-old woman living in your apartment complex just broke out her wrist guards–It's pickleball season again, folks! For those of us too old or out of shape to play tennis, pickleball has become the latest craze in paddle sports. More physical than ping pong but not as devastatingly humiliating as a round of tennis, pickleball is the perfect sport for pretty much everyone… which is why Herman and his partner 'Old Ed' are the running local champions in your neighborhood.

Although you may never have a partner good enough to rise through the ranks and dethrone the local legends, Herman and Ed, no matter which way you slice it, we'll all have a good time playing the game. Weirdly enough, the combination of competition and local tomfoolery is what keeps pickleball alive in our hearts and the endless search for improvement is what keeps us coming back to the courts all season.
