People don't often adopt senior cats, and that is such a pity. They aren't as energetic as your average kitten, but they still love to play, cuddle, and do mischievous things around the house that make you question your sanity. For example, I adopted an older cat a while ago, and I named her Spice because boy is she spicy! She is very vocal and extroverted, so if my partner and I are snuggled up, you can bet that she is going to join and complain that we didn't include her. She is so much fun, and we're very grateful.
This hooman below also decided to adopt a senior cat after losing both of their fluffy felines within 4 months. They were absolutely devastated and first began to show up at the shelter to pet kitties. But they inevitably fell in love with one of them and took her home.
