Run away soul dog found after 6 days of searching thanks to unlikely event and its location, ending in emotional reunion after the dog was freed from the trees his leash got tangled in:’ I called out Scout's name and I heard him whine. I knew that whine.’

The ways in which we come to meet our soul dogs are as unique as snowflakes, and sometimes it take the loss of another dog to create the bond required for a soul dog. Unfortunately that was the way that our protagonist pawrent came to call their puppy their soul dog, after she unfortunately lost her soul dog's littermate. But through that tragedy the two become inseparable and so the soul bond was made. Which made it all the more harrowing when her soul dog escaped the confines of her garden. Of course it was an ill thought out choice to leave the dog tied in the garden but that is a discussion for another time as this story is about the puppy not the pawrent.

Thankfully, this pawrent had no intentions of giving up on her soul pup and sought to do everything and anything possible to find her lost pupper. And while her active efforts did not bear fruits, they did give the universe enough positive energy to decide to reunite the pair in quite the puptacular way.

Sad as it may be, it is not all too surprising that after all they had been through together that this woman and her pupper Scout would end up being soul bonded to one and other. The loss of a puppy is enough to send most doggo lovers into a spiral, let alone to have it be the sibling of the dog you still have. We can only commend both Scout and his pawrent for staying strong and being there for each other.

Oh goodness, what a harrowing and heartbreaking thing to happen. Like you literally just got over the tragic loss of your doggo’s sister pup and then this happens. We would not be surprised if this pawrent would not have slept for days on end, racked with worry. That poor puppy could have been anywhere, with anyone, or worse still all alone. Just the thought of it makes us tear up.
