The world has bought into the myth that cats and dogs cannot be friends a million times over in out short lifetimes. They have. And we can fight it all we want. We can say that cats and dogs can be best friends. We can say that although yes, the friendship between cats and dogs can be whacky and strange, that doesn't make it any less valid. And yes, some cats and dogs seem to be ashamed to be seen together - because apparently, some of them have bought into that myth as well - but again, their friendship is still real and valid.
We can say it all we want, but it's showing it that makes a difference. How can you say that cats and dogs can't be close when you see them caring for each other so deeply, when you see them so worried about one another? You can't.

Dogs having seizures is always a terrifying sight. For everyone. We know that most of them are not life-threatening, that a lot of dogs will experience seizures at some point in their lives and that the severity of the situation truly depends on the underlying causes, but it's still terrifying. And apparently, it's terrifying not just to us but to other animals instead.
We wonder if this is not the first time this happened. Because while it's true that the cat does look shocked to be seeing this, it does not react with fear. The cat reacts by constantly checking on the dogs and moving the other cats away. It truly does seem like the cat is worried here. We hope that one day we will get an update to this story and know where both of them ended up.
