r/pettyrevenge Posted by u/asdf_qwerty27 1232 52 I put a fake note on a Corvettes windshield that read "Sorry I hit your car, you probably won't even notice the damage" because it was taking up four spots.

So title is fairly self explanatory but I'll elaborate. I was trying to find a parking spot at my university. The lot was notoriously crowded but my campus didn't have a lot of options. While searching, I saw a Corvette taking up FOUR prime spots near the front of the lot.

After about ten minutes of waiting/looking for a spot one opened up towards the back of the lot. Furious at the nerve of the driver being so inconsiderate, I wrote a note saying, "Sorry I hit your car, you probably won't even notice the damage" and left it on their windshield.

When I got out of class and was headed back to my car, I saw a very stereotypical college aged Corvette owner frantically searching their vehicle while yelling into their phone. I don't know who they were talking to, but I feel bad for them having to deal with this person.

an_nep My aunt is kind of a ditz and sometimes takes up two parking spots because she doesn't pay close attention to the lines. A while ago, she was really confused by a note someone left on her car. It said, "This is not a Ferrari" It was pretty hard for me to choke back a laugh when she told me about it!

markusalkemus66 But now he's gonna take up 6 spaces since 4 wasn't enough to avoid "damage".

[deleted] How does one car take up four spots? Four spots that all shared one corner? 135 Reply Share asdf_qwerty27 OP Yes. The intersection of the four spots was under his vehicle.

drapehsnormak +3 Before reading I assumed you hit the car and left a note, pretending to leave insurance details and thought "kind of a domove, but one I totally understand given that parking job." Then I read this and...just beautiful, absolutely beautiful. 435 Reply Share asdf_qwerty27 OP Glad you appreciate it.

tsubie320 I wrote almost this exact note and put it on 3 cars that were parked on a bike path completely blocking it. By chance, they returned to their car the same time I did and watching them all run circles around their cars for 15min looking at every little knick/dent asking themselves "was this here before?" was so fing priceless/satisfying lol.

nascentia My grandpa had a Corvette and he didn't want it to get dinged up either. But you know what he did? He'd always park wayyyy in the back of the lot and just walk farther, like a rational adult human being. There's no reason to take up four spots. I love this.

Alenola One time I was backing out a of a parking space and I hit the car parked next to me. Because he was parked diagonally, on top of the line, halfway in my space. I couldn't see him because it was night time in the worst storm I've ever been in. I still ended up having to pay for the damages to his car, even after I sent pictures of this dude's s parking job to the insurance agency. that dude and anyone else who parks in more than one spot 18 Reply Share asdf_qwerty27 OP If you hit a parked
