Sniff, sniff. Hmmm, I love the smell of fresh laundry.
The hum of the washer and dryer welcome me like an old friend as I step into the laundry room with a basket full of dirty clothes. Sorting through the pile, I separate the whites from the colors because I, dear people, am a grownup. The rhythmic sound of clothes tumbling in the dryer is weirdly soothing as I transfer the freshly washed load into it. Next comes the dryer. I carefully extract each item and sniff the pile in my hands. It smells like a really good lavender scent, and it's warm on my cheek. Yes, I hold it up to my face, okay? I smooth out some wrinkles and begin the tedious task of folding, creating neat stacks that are sure to topple over when I head over to my room to stack them in my closet.
Gosh, I love laundry. Do you? Next up, a person who went all maximalist on their bathroom decor… but it looks really awesome.
