When you're a contractor working on the job, there are a million hazardous things around you. We've all seen Final Destination, we know what the wood chipper, the table saw, and the open electrical wires are capable of… But what about the less obvious hazards at work? Some bosses don't see the value in taking care of their employees, but the working man in our next story stuck it to his foreman with some cold, hard facts.
While working a run-of-the-mill plastering job, this contractor noticed a foul stench in the family's home. Even though they were still living in the house, they were living in squalor, with cat excrement in every corner and a strong ammonia smell building up as you went deeper into the house. After a full 8-hour shift, the plaster guy felt woozy and barely made it home before being struck with a horrible migraine. The source? The hoarder's house was full of cat waste that was essentially poisoning all the workers.
