Wholesome Hooman And Crow Become Best Friends After Saving It From Drowning

Thanks to our good friend the internet, we have the insane fortune to witness some of the greatest moments between hoomans and animals. And today's cherry-picked video definitely sits high in the rankings of hooman-animal wholesomeness. One of the less expected friendships formed when this hooman came upon a drowning crow as he was out paddling his boat. Our eponymous hero took pity on the flailing bird and offered it a paddle to bring it to safety. But this wholesome hooman did not take into account just how smart and sentient this breed of bird truly is, and the crow repaid her hooman's kindness with a lifelong relationship of love and curiosity.

It is a wonderful example of what can happen when we open ourselves up to experiences that might seem undesirable, because often it is the overlooked elements of daily life which carry the most wonder and magic within them. So the next time you come across an animal in need, maybe stop and help you. You never know, you might just make a best friend for life.

    lovingsweetkaren We found an injured crow when we were kids. Took him home and nursed him back to health. And he stayed with us for a couple of years. Very smart little guy. We decided we should take him to the forest so he could live with his own. He seemed to be happy. Missed him though. His name was Tut. He knew his name.

    rubylangeid I had a crow too some years ago. It was so smart and cute! It was unfortunately shot by someone but didn't die so I took it home to heal and feed it. Turned out to be my best friend for a few months, and when it was time to set it free, it always kept coming back, and wandered into the house if the door was open. It had it's own safe spot at the roof of the barn and stayed there for years later
