‘It’s a woman’s job’: Man Expects His Wife to Take Their Kids to the Doctor Because He Thinks It’s Boring, Resulting in Marriage Dispute

Welcome back women of the internet. Don't we just love a spicy piece about a partially failing marriage? Some people make it all too easy to poke fun at them or laugh about their maturity. Let's face it, some people do have the emotional maturity of a toothpick. Not to mention the entanglements with outdated traditions. 

It's 2024, yet people still think a woman's role is gendered to stereotypes, such as cooking, cleaning, and childcare. As intelligent, independent, and knowledgeable women of the world, we understand that we're capable of much more. It's worth noting that these responsibilities and skills are completely in line with intelligence, independence, and knowledge. It's not a denigration of gendered roles themselves, just that we're more than those stereotypes. If your man tries to reduce your value to your gender, it's an ick. If he refuses to help with the kids because it's solely your responsibility, it's an ick. It doesn't mean divorce, but keep your eyes and ears open.
