It's worth noting that these responsibilities and skills are completely in line with intelligence, independence, and knowledge. It's not a denigration of gendered roles themselves, just that we're more than those stereotypes. If your man tries to reduce your value to your gender, it's an ick. If he refuses to help with the kids because it's solely your responsibility, it's an ick. It doesn't mean divorce, but keep your eyes and ears open.
