Good Thursday to you dear animal loving hooman, the working week is almost over, and we hope that you are getting as excited as a dog who is going to the park for the coming freedom of the weekend. But if not, then this video is sure to give you some much-needed weekend inspiration. This wholesome hooman took the unique decision to open their backyard to the local wildlife after noticing that it was a popular drinking spot, thanks to the fountain they had installed. They soon upgraded the fountain to a small bathtub and then to a large bath tub when the local visitors started getting a little too big.
It is a wonderful example of the little things that us hoomans can do for the wildlife our society has done so much to displace. Where rivers once ran, roads wind and weave, where forests full of food once stood, manicured parks now exist for us hoomans to admire from afar. We could all do more to help the animals around us, and there is no faster way to put a big old smile on your face than seeing the local animals appreciate your hard work and sensitivity.

Water is the great equalizer on this planet. No matter what kind of creature you are, we all need it, love it and will go to great lengths to get it. The watering hole is a sanctuary for all, prey and predators can drink from the same source, peacefully forgetting their opposing rolls for a few moments of refreshing bliss.
Once upon a time, us hoomans would regularly leave offerings for the wildlife we shared our space with. Of course, back then we also hunted some of them and this habit would draw animals nearer and help maintain their populations. But just because we no longer need to hunt them, does not mean they do not deserve our offerings, in today's case, of forgiveness for ruining many of their homes.
