But One such doggo named Buster made his grand Reddit appearance and folks flocked to remark on his incredible adjustment. The gradual shift from black to white could be due to various factors, including genetics, hormonal changes, exposure to sunlight, diet, and overall health. It's challenging to pinpoint the exact cause of this shift however, aging is a common explanation for such changes in fur color.
Some folks who chimed into the post thought Vitiligo might be the cause. Vitiligo is a skin condition characterized by the loss of skin pigmentation, resulting in white patches. While it's more commonly observed in humans, dogs can also develop vitiligo. Whether the cause of this change is vitiligo, aging, or something else entirely, it is pretty remarkable to witness.
