Letting your cat outside comes with consequences. No, not for you. Forget about the consequences for you or your cat for a second. We're talking about consequences for your neighborhood. Because cats and menaces, and if you give them freedom, they will use it to do whatever the heck they want. And if something that they want exists in a house that is not theirs… well, that's not their problem. We constantly see stories of cats breaking and entering, whether it's cats breaking into apartments, or cats breaking into labs, or cats breaking into dentists' offices.
Cats will get into wherever they want to. They don't care who stands in their way. Even if it's another cat. And that's what happened today. A neighborhood cat decided to chill in a different home today, and the cat who actually lives in that home paid the price. And yes, it's hissterical.
