'Just go and rent an apartment': Parents Discover The Cat That Their Son's Been Hiding In The House For Months, Immediately Issue An Ultimatum

A lot of us, when we were young were not quite so lucky in the pet department. For some reason, some parents simply do not like cats. Or at least that's what they say their reason is. But we know better. We know the classic stories - mom 'hates' cats then adopts one and falls in love with it, or dads who claimed they didn't like cats becoming BFFs with them. It happens every time. And usually, all that you need to do to change those parents' minds… is adopt the cat.

But that's not the case in this story. Here, the son hid a cat for months from his parents, keeping it in their house in his room, and their first reaction upon finally coming across the cat is to tell him: get rid of the cat or get out of the house. Bit drastic, but the mom did almost have a heart attack. Secretly… we're hoping that the classic hit will play again and that these two parents fall in love with this itty bitty kitty in no time and decide to keep it.

Months. He has been hiding the cat in the house for months. We don't know how the parents did not notice it there, because there were probably signs that they missed. The smell of litter? Hello? The fur in each and every square inch of their house? What? How does one miss a cat living in their home for months?

Yes, thank you! And for their first reaction - after months of the cat being so calm and quiet and not bothering them in the slightest - is to offer their son an ultimatum, asking him to get rid of the cat or leave the house? Make it make sense.
