Tsk, tsk, Severus Snape. Everyone has an opinion about this dude, including me. I remember hating him throughout the entire book series, and I was more than a little surprised when at the end, Harry Potter decided to name his kid after him. Sure, Severus Snape had done something heroic. But that doesn't erase 7 books worth of him being mean to Harry Potter. Just because he had beef with his dad doesn't mean he had to take it out on the poor kid. What had Harry ever done to him? Besides, you know, a lot. Ahem.
So Harry wasn't an angel… but he might have acted a lot nicer towards Snape had he received kindness in return. One Potterhead took to r/harrypotter to express their opinion on how ridiculous it was that Harry's kid was named after Snape. All this led to quite an amusing discussion. Scroll down to read the interesting thread, and then check out another Potterhead with a lot of opinions, who voiced their frustration regarding the Harry Potter series which they only got into as adults.
