27 Introvert Memes for Grateful Loners Happy to Stay in Their Lane (April 26, 2024)

I got invited to a party recently that I'm dreading. It's a big hoopla of an event with a dress code, tiny table snacks, and a stuffy live band. While it's safe to say that every introvert in attendance will be counting down the minutes until their favored Irish goodbye can take place, there's something to be said about these introverts showing up in the first place. Surely–like myself–they're debating a 'no' on the RSVP, but social decorum is more complicated than that for introverted people.

We must at least show face to remind folks that we're still alive and well. Once that duty is fulfilled, every introvert is happy to leave the stuffiness of formal parties, heading off to the valet to pick up their 2013 Corolla to head home to cozy comforts.

You know what's a lot more delicious than a stack of condescending hors d'oeuvres? Fluffy socks, pajamas, and our favorite comfort show.
