Spock has got it all figured out. I know lots of Star Trek characters like to criticize him for his Vulcan traits (I'm looking at you, McCoy), but I wish I could be more like the guy. Imagine being able to manage your emotions so thoroughly that you come off as stone-cold to everyone who interacts with you, even your best friends. Many dudes claim that they aren't as swayed by emotion as others and that "facts don't care about your feelings." I will believe that when they start acting like Leonard Nimoy did over his years playing Spock. He intentionally adopted Vulcan cultural values and bettered himself through that process. I know human emotions are precious and beautiful, but they are inconvenient. If you could take a pill to become Vulcan, would you? If you would, or if you have a strong opinion on why you wouldn't, these Star Trek memes might be just for you.
