Another work week is coming to an end, and just like every week, I cannot wait for the weekend.

While I let myself relax for the weekends that have come and gone these past few months, I have now decided to make specific plans for my Saturdays and Sundays to make sure that I really take advantage of my time off. It seems now that the days feel much longer, with the sun only setting at around 8 pm every day, I have a much stronger will to seize the day and enjoy the outside. Plus, the warm weather does not hurt either. So this Saturday I have decided to bake one of my favorite chocolate cakes and make a sweet picnic to take to the beach with my dog and a few friends, and I could not be more excited.
