‘I’d rather divorce than be monogamous’: Husband Desires an Open Marriage, Wife Obliges, Only to Have the Tables Turn On Him

With the ever changing definition of what a healthy relationship looks like, some people prefer to experiment with being open. 

I don't know about you, but every time I see something like this, it tends to ultimately crash and burn. It has its waves of freedom, exoneration, or enlightenment, but in the end, someone is dissatisfied. The OP in this story is a woman who was initially reluctant to open the relationship. After her husband convinces her, she obliges, and their marriage seems to improve. It always feels like the person who initiates the idea is also the one to suffocate it. The tables turn, and the woman finds herself enjoying her open marriage more than the man.
