Could we please have a three-day weekend every weekend?
With Mondays in a permanent state of terribleness, every employee may benefit from an extension of our weekendly privileges. Burnouts are avoided if employees can actually enjoy themselves every once in a while. Believe it or not, human fulfillment doesn't stem from our careers–groundbreaking, I know.
So for those of us in the workforce who have a hobby we enjoy–like crochet, reading, archery, running, gardening, or playing video games–we need more time in our lives to focus our energies on things that matter most to us. Fun!
And it may be news to the shareholders, but the workforce's interests are not about reaching quarterly goals or combing through spreadsheets. We'd rather kick back, refresh, and relax every now and then, living it up with 10 days of PTO, unapproved vacation time, and a rebellious streak of meme-scrollage while we're on the clock!
